Alex joined ENDS in 2004 and leads on waste issues. He also covers renewable energy. His interest in the environment was sparked while studying geography at Cambridge University. His dissertation looked at the effects of major flood events on people's understanding of global warming. He has also freelanced for several national UK newspapers.
